Let's See Action: Part Two

Watching The Kooks on the Werchter webcast, and I can tell you they're fucking brilliant. Would love to see them on ITA today.

I went to a small Yoko Ono exhibition in Antwerp yesterday. I took some pics:
Tangerine Tree #1
Tangerine Tree #2
Tangerine Tree #3
We're all made out of water
David Bowie #1
David Bowie #2
Andy Warhol
Samuel Beckett
Franz Kafka
Elvis Presley
The Wall: WAKE! #1
The Wall: WAKE! #2
Wake up Antwerp!
Jimmy Hendrix
John Lennon
Sean Lennon

I forgot to take the Yoko Ono one. I did also get a free flashlight pen.

I had to go to school today to sell my old books. Well, that's it, I guess.
SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!

Watching The Editors on the webcast now. They were playing at the same time as The Kooks. I switched once. Although, I admit I like The Kooks more. So I kept watching their performance. Next up is "Clap Your Hands And Say Yeah"!

Let's See Action

Currently watching Rachel sing "Spin" on www.thewholive.tv
I can't wait till The Who comes to Belgium. And like I've told you a thousand times: I'm not going! But I will see ITA and the webcast of the entire Who concert! Not three or four songs, the entire concert! And I will give you the link for those who are reading my blog.

I've gone shopping with my (only) friend today. We had a nice time, though she kept talking about classical music. And we've got nothing in common. I gave her a video with the "Monty Python's Flying Circus" episodes. I taped it. Yes, Monty Python's airing in Belgium. This country is fab.

And I graduated.

Free Me

I'll be getting my results in an hour or so. I don't care if I don't graduate...

You know, I don't blog here a lot because I know there are few who read these. I mostly blog on LiveJournal. LiveJournal is great: you can join communities and comment on the posts. I've made a lot of 'friends' there.

Here's one of my latest post I posted on LiveJournal:

"I saw the loop of last Sunday's ITA. And you know, Rachel's right. If people want to bash her, don't comment on her blog, because you know there are so many bloggers who are supporting her, the ITA show and The Who. If you don't want to see her, don't watch ITA. If you just want to see the Who, go to their concert.
There's this post about her on the Cobwebs and Strange forum. OK, I understand people want to hear the Who and not Rachel, but it's only one song she's written. Give her a chance, people! She's not the Who but if Pete (or Roger) is comfortable with it, why shouldn't her written song be on the album? I am too feeling a little uncomfortable with 'her band' playing a song on a Who album. But here's what I gotta say:
The Who's not only Pete and/or Roger. And do you really think Simon, Zac, Rabbit, etc. is The Who? The 'real' Who to me was Pete, Roger, John and Keith.
But that's beside the point.
I don't even mind if Simon, or someone else who's playing with The Who, or friends or relatives wrote a song for them. Or even a fan. Not even write...sing as well. And you could all say I'm mad or something and that anyone could join The Who...

And if you're saying that they don't sound like the 'old' Who, you could be right. They have changed, we don't live in the 60's or 70's aymore. And yes, they're older. And two members...But that's not the point. The point is that whatever The Who chooses to do is their choice. And if you don't like it (the new album, the new songs etc.): I don't care. And neither do they. I mean that I think that they will consider the reviews and think about it for a moment. But their negative thinking will fade away.

"What Who fans get are the Who shows, and a new Who record after 24 years waiting. Is not obvious that Rachel's presence in my life might have something to do with my new lease of creative Who life?" - Pete Townshend

But anyway, if you're seeing The Who live in concert: enjoy it.

EDIT 2:
Now, who remembers this movie? Oh, yeah, and if you don't remember this, you'll recognise the incidental music:

PIXAR RULES!

EDIT 3:
Yes, I do edit a lot. I can't believe Pete's blog has been shut down again. I really enjoyed "The Comedian", it was hilarious. The Daily Mail's got evil forces, I tell ya. I even spelled 'ebil', so it must be evil. And I'm really sad what happened to Pete in 2003, and I think it caused to this. But anyway, we know Pete doesn't want to offend or hurt people, and IMO the decision he has made was a right one.

This has been my longest post ever."

Oh...and by the way, I love Roger Daltrey's "Without Your Love". Probably because I saw him singing that song live. Yes, I saw him performing in Antwerp last year...he sang about 8 songs. Donna Summer, Ace of Base and some Belgian artists were there too. If you want to know more about that, just go here: http://soft-guitar60.livejournal.com/51702.html
My English sucks. *lol*

I'm not sure I'm gonna make it this school year. But if I don't: I DON'T F*CKING CARE. Maybe I *will* cry when I hear my results, but that's just me. I cry for silly things. But I'm not sentimental. I am sometimes. I'm...emo, I guess.

I didn't watch ITA because of my exams. I had my English exam today: I had a stupid grammar question which I answered wrong. It was about relative clauses. If he gave me another 2 sentences with a non-defining and a defining relative clause, I would have probably answered it right. And literature sucked.

I wish I could go to Werchter to see the Who...or even Robert Plant. They're not performing on the same day. But I'm not going anyway, so...*curses*

I'M BORED
HAHA

And the past few days were too hot. Now, the weather's just perfect.
