Living Reflection From a Dream

Finland won the Eurovision Song Contest with "Hard Rock Hallelujah". It was pretty obvious they would win. I'm glad they won, although the bass player calls himself the Ox. There's (or was...sadly enough) only one Ox. I saw a photo of 'Lordi' without their masks in the newspaper. They look better with the masks and the make-up.

I wanted to buy the four Led Zeppelin albums but I couldn't find them. I did buy Led Zeppelin III last Saturday. I really like "Tangerine", it's been in my head today. One funny thing happened to me: I listened to it on my iPod a few weeks ago (I didn't have the album back then) and I saw a tangerine on the street. Who would leave a tangerine?
Maybe getting the other three albums tomorrow. I know a place where I probably can buy 'em.

Anyroad, I've got low grades for English. I like English but not when MY TEACHER is teaching it. He's completely obsessed with literature and drama.
Maths is now impossible to follow: statistics. I liked maths this year, untill now.

A few weeks ago I took a nap and I dreamt that I walked backstage at a concert. I saw Led Zeppelin and I ran after them. Then Pete Townshend blocked the way. I remember that I said that I know his songs. But he just kind of ignored me and told me to go away.
I don't think Pete would do this in real life. But I don't know...I don't know what he would think or do. I don't know what he thinks or does. I'm not a psychic, y'know.

Implicit Association Test

Implicit Association Test(s)

You know how much I love these tests? You can measure your attitude with these tests: Do you prefer black people over white? Gay over straight?

You may think this is weird but I do prefer fat people over thin people.
And president Clinton over Bush. Duh.

OK, the English drama thing on Firday didn't go that well. But that's why it's called a 'drama'. I forgot some of my lines and it was even harder to concentrate while someone was talking. Quite funny, really.
Anyroad, I wasn't the only one who forgot some lines. But I paused really long.

Got my English book review back, it was excellent. The teacher wrote "All your personal work?"
OK, Stella helped me a bit, but I wrote it.

Maths test didn't go that well yesterday, because I studied little.

Heard "Summertime" from Janis Joplin in class. OK, her voice is good...HAHA.

Er...Well, I bought a memory stick for my digital camera today. And I went looking for Who and Led Zeppelin CDs.

The Rain Song

I'm currently in love with this song. I read somewhere that Page was inspired by George Harrison after they met. And he wrote this song:

The Rain Song

This is the springtime of my loving -
The second season I am to know
You are the sunlight in my growing -
So little warmth I’ve felt before.
It isn’t hard to feel me glowing -
I watched the fire that grew so low.

It is the summer of my smiles -
Flee from me keepers of the gloom.
Speak to me only with your eyes
It is to you I give this tune.
Ain’t so hard to recognize -
These things are clear to all from
Time to time. ooooh...

Talk talk -
I’ve felt the coldness of my winter
I never thought it would ever go
I cursed the gloom that set upon us...

But I know that I love you so
But I know that I love you so.

These are the seasons of emotion
And like the winds they rise and fall
This is the wonder of devotion -
I see the torch we all must hold.
This is the mystery of the quotient -
Upon us all a little rain
Must fall.
Just a little rain?
Ooooh, yeah yeah yeah!

Imagine

This post isn't really necessary but whatever.

I think today has been the most educational day ever.
We saw a video about the Amish in German class. But the video was in English with Dutch subtitles. After we had watched it, we were given a test: multiple choice answers. I've got some wrong, I guess. I did take notes while the others didn't. Actually, I think I've seen the video before.
Maths was kind of boring. The math teacher rambled on, and we had to listen to him. I'd rather take notes than listening to him and his awful, silly jokes.
Dutch class was interesting: phonetics and phonology. But I think it will be hard when the teacher gives us a test about that.
Geography: globalisation again: the advantages and disadvantages of globalisation. I was wearing my "mod shirt" and someone asked me what the symbol meant. I didn't answer because I really hate that person.
Cultural sciences (?). I still don't know how that class is called. Read and discussed an article about Bach. Next week the teacher will let us hear some songs of the Woodstock era. Yippie! I hope he doesn't forget it.

EDIT:
Probably nothing special but here they are anyway:

Funny thing is, I noticed a spider ON my shoe. I KILLED it. With a book.

Whole Lotta Love

I've got a digital camera. Hoozah! I've taken some pics and put them in my livejournal and deviantart page.
Talking about 'page', I've recently gotten into Led Zeppelin. Especially Jimmy. Page.

I think I've found my radio station: Virgin Radio Classic Rock. It's amazing but I like every song they play. From The Beatles to the Who, from Led Zeppelin to Guns 'n' Roses. It's all there!"The ants are my friend. They're blowing in the wind"? "Don't cry for me, Arch and Tina"? HAHA! I love this station.
They're playing Jimi Hendrix right now. "'scuse me while I kiss the sky..."
